Ms. Ruchika Raj Saxena

Prof. Ruchika Raj Saxena holds a master's degree in Apparel Design (M. Design) from the esteemed National Institute of Design, Gujarat. In addition to this, she has earned an M.A. (Fine Arts) and a Fashion Design Diploma from the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Bhopal. Furthermore, she possesses a bachelor's degree in Business Administration (BBA).

Prof. Ruchika's portfolio encompasses a diverse array of projects that delve into various facets of apparel design. Her pursuits span from delving into the intricate interplay between mental health and clothing to pioneering innovative solutions for yoga wear. She has collaborated with the Madhya Pradesh government's handicraft and handloom sector and has delivered expert lecture sessions at renowned institutions. Her Graduation Project, titled 'Clothing for Anxiety Patients,' was exhibited at NID Young Designer talks. Her areas of expertise encompass functional apparel design, projects rooted in Indian crafts and textiles, sustainability in design, system design, and research-oriented ventures.

With a steadfast dedication to creating transformative learning experiences, Prof. Ruchika encourages students to explore the boundless potential of design and innovation.
